Teletica, Channel 7
This is probably the best-watched national television station with news shows at 7 and 11 p.m. Don't be surprised if the new show is preempted by a soccer game! Of course, all the shows are in Spanish
Repretel channels 6, 11 and 4.
This is the national television network with the head of the station being appointed by the government. Still, news reporting is professional, although the programming on all three channels includes a lot of syndicated material in Spanish. Channel 6 is the lead station with news shows at 7 and 11. Channel 11 broadcasts a news show for an hour at 6 p.m. weekdays.

Diaro Extra's television station is the only one now with a live feed here.
The station is not available on all the cable systems in Costa Rica. Production and reporting duties involve employees of Diario Extra newspaper.
