Radio Peace International

Every summary of Costa Rican radio should mention Radio Peace International, although the exact location of its online broadcasts may vary. For years the station broadcast shortwave from the campus of the University for Peace west of San Jose. Alas, war broke out between the entities, and the radio station got its walking papers and lost its ability to braodcast shortwave. But it is available online with a programming sharing arrangement with Pacifica Radio.
